Welcome!
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who primarily works with children (ages 4-13) and caregivers to heal from trauma, build healthy relationships and attachments, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, and improve skills in emotional and behavioral regulation.
My approach to therapy involves integrating various trauma-informed treatment modalities that will best meet the needs of each unique client. These may include EMDR, clinical hypnosis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), ego states, play, art, and parent support using an attachment-focused lens.
It is important to me to work collaboratively with children and their caregivers to identify goals, appropriate interventions, and to support children in accessing their own wisdom and amazing capacity for change.
I hold a Masters Degree in Clinical Social work from New Mexico Highlands University and a Bachelors in Economics from Whitworth University. Most of my 10 plus years' experience in clinical social work has been working with children, adolescents, and their parents in outpatient and school-based settings.
